Statement · RD 1112/2018 / WCAG 2.1
Note: This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency, the Spanish version shall prevail as the legally binding text under Spanish law.
1. Compliance status
This website is in partial conformance with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications, and with the harmonised standard UNE-EN 301 549, which incorporates the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
It is described as "partial conformance" because some content does not yet meet all accessibility criteria, as indicated below.
2. Non-accessible content
The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons stated:
- Google Maps embed: The map is displayed by default as an interactive block with a keyboard-accessible load button. The Google Maps iframe is only inserted when the user activates it; once loaded, since it is third-party content (Google LLC), its keyboard navigation and assistive-technology compatibility are beyond the control of this website. WCAG criterion affected: 2.1.1 Keyboard.
- Image galleries: The photographic galleries of the restaurant and dishes have descriptive alt text on each image, but the enlarged view in the modal lightbox is primarily controlled with mouse or touch input. Keyboard users can close the modal with the Escape key and navigate between photos using the left/right arrow keys. WCAG criteria affected: 2.1.1 Keyboard, 2.4.3 Focus order.
The meat menu, wine list and desserts menu are presented as fully structured plain text, completely accessible to screen readers and marked up with Schema.org/Menu to improve the experience with assistive technologies and AI agents.
